🔹 Who can join the Shifted Learning Academy Virtual Leadership Program?

Students in Grades 6–12 who are looking to build confidence, leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are welcome to join!

🔹 What topics are covered in the program?

We focus on core leadership development areas such as:

• Public speaking & presentations

• Teamwork & collaboration

• Critical thinking

• Conflict resolution

• Self-awareness & confidence building

• Goal setting & personal growth

Each session includes interactive activities, group discussions, and real-life applications.

🔹 How are sessions delivered?

All sessions are held virtually via Google Classroom or a similar secure platform. Details and access links will be shared after registration is complete.

🔹 What technology do students need?

Students will need:

• A computer or tablet with internet access

• A working camera and microphone

• A quiet space to join sessions
  We recommend keeping cameras on to support full participation and engagement.
   

🔹 What happens if my child misses a session?

We understand that things come up! While missed sessions are non-refundable and not guaranteed to be rescheduled, every effort will be made to offer a makeup class within the same week, pending availability. We strongly encourage full attendance to ensure your student gets the most out of the program.

🔹 Can I cancel after registering?

Cancellations made more than 1 week before the start date are eligible for a full refund or credit.
No refunds or credits are given within 1 week of the start date, as your child’s spot may prevent another student from joining.
 

🔹 What if my child is shy or nervous?

That’s okay! Our instructors are trained to create a supportive, low-pressure environment. Many shy students come out of their shell during the program! 🌱
 

🔹 What if a student behaves inappropriately?

We maintain a safe, respectful space for all students. All participants will be required to sign a Code of Conduct and agree to abide by the rules of behavior. Any student displaying inappropriate behavior, including bullying, harassment, or disruptive conduct, will be removed from the program without refund. We are committed to creating a positive learning environment for everyone.

🔹 What happens if the program is canceled by Shifted Learning Academy?

In the rare event that Shifted Learning Academy needs to cancel a class, we will provide a makeup session or a full refund to the affected students. We strive to minimize disruptions and ensure a seamless experience for all.

🔹 Who can access the program and what time is it available?
The program is open to all students located on the East and West Coasts of the U.S. and Canada. Please note that all times listed are in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
